demonstrate, through clinical and artistic practice, the beneficial effects of live music on patients. They were led by Juan Alberto Garc\u00eda de Cubas within the context of the M\u00fasica en Vena association, <mark>and were designed and carried out by different principal investigators at Hospital 12 de Octubre.<\/mark>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The clinical studies employed a case study and control group approach. Since then, the data have been used and results analysed for their presentation and publication by Cultura en Vena as from June 2022. The foundation will then roll out and implement the Musicians In Residence (MIR) project in hospitals.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-ad2ae9e );\">The completed surveys reveal very high levels of satisfaction among patients, relatives and healthcare personnel with respect to the presence of live music in all the units where the studies were carried out.
